Tribute – Remembering Mr Lee Kuan Yew, the man, giant and the legend.

A man who gave his life to his country.

A man who governed with such huge passion.

A man who turned a 3rd world country to FIRST world nation.

A man who tirelessly, relentlessly drove the countrymen for progress, survivability and excellence.

A man who has a monument of achievement by simply looking around Singapore.

Mr Lee Kuan Yew, sir, thank you for everything.

We will soldier on.

Rest in peace.

Farewell.

I am a great admirer of his powerful speech. The colourful burst is the result of the old guards and his hard work transforming the gloomy days to a vibrant country.

My favourite. His chanting of "Merdeka" always drive my morale sky-high! That contagious passion, the tearful expel from Federation of Malaya etched deeply in my young heart.

Huge passion and love are not strong enough to lead and steer us to where we are now. One needs a huge lion heart of devotion and drive to do so. Total respect.
