Figure Drawing at SP- 15 July 2014

This was the fifth time I joined the Nude Figure Drawing session. I didn’t find the time to post the earlier four sessions. This session was quite different from the rest because I tried out a few techniques on the same model whom I drew when I first joined!

Let me show what I have done on my very first session. Just 3B and 5B pencils rendering.

Probably 5-minute poses

Pencil sketching seemed like decades ago when I last did. Fumbled quite a fair bit here and there.

NOW.

This was the latest on the same model:

2-minute poses using Conté à Paris Round Drawing Pencil - Sanguine Medicis. It was truly fun with such textures.

10-minute poses with 5B pencil. Boring.

5-minute poses using Black Brush pen for outlines and diluted brush pen for shading. This technique seems to be my favourite.

Final pose of 10-minute. I used brush pen for outlines then splashed watercolors. One of my favourite styles for the moment.

One session. And I get to try out four techniques. What a fabulous night!
