43rd edition! Means that I missed out thirty over editions before!
It was a night of fun, making new friends and meeting old pals.
Kicked-off with a demonstration of leather crafting from Cherin Sim. A very hardworking and creative young lady with a huge passion for her crafting. I managed to sketch the table of her leather crafts before the next program commenced, so I have to include her in the sketch based on my memory.
The next performers were Celtic Rovers, featuring 2 young ladies, Pamela Ng and Michelle Ong. Performed some Irish music. It was pretty crowded but I failed to sketch anything of the two.
And followed by Maisha, with special interest in oriental dance, posed for our sketching.
Then, Bani haykal + ila performed an audio-visual performance duo utilizing spoken word, overhead projections and various instruments. This was my articulation of their performance through my expression on paper. It was a pity that the paper which I was using, not that suitable for colour-splashing.
The final act was Maisha’s pose for sketching.
